  1. CABINET WARRANTY & RETURN POLICY

  2. One Year Limited Warranty
  3. Sunshine Home Material warrants to the original consumer purchaser
  4. that door hinges, and drawer glides will be free from defects in material and
  5. workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one years from
  6. purchase date (Proof of Purchase is required). This warranty is not
  7. transferable and is only applicable to products used for residential purposes.
  8. Representatives of Sunshine Home Material do not have the authority to
  9. change or enlarge this warranty.
  10. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage or defects caused
  11. by accidents, misuse, abuse, or lack of necessary maintenance; nor does it
  12. cover alteration, modification, improper installation, improper handling/storage,
  13. environmental conditions, nor any labor expenses.
  14. Sunshine Home Material, at our option, may elect to repair or replace
  15. with a functionally equivalent product covered by this warranty. Some replacement parts
  16. are subject to availability and may differ from original parts received. Return of defective
  17. product may be required for a replacement to be issued. Repair parts or
  18. replacement parts are at the expense of Sunshine Home Material, but
  19. customer shall bear all other expenses. These expenses may include, but are
  20. not limited to, cost of removal and reinstallation of product, labor expenses, etc.

  22. Just as no two trees are alike, no two pieces of wood are alike. The variation in
  23. color and grain pattern in wood adds to its natural beauty and is not considered
  24. an imperfection. Environmental factors, including but not limited to
  25. artificial/natural light, moisture, cleaners, smoke, etc, may cause the darkening
  26. or mellowing of a cabinet over time. This is a natural process and can be
  27. expected. This warranty does not cover the natural aging or darkening /
  28. mellowing of wood color, the inherent growth characteristics of, or variation in
  29. Wood.
  30. Some of the cabinet lines feature a glazed finish which accentuates the door
  31. and drawer front profiles. This glaze is hand applied over a stain or paint and
  32. may, due to the nature of application, consist of random drips, runs, etc. As
  33. glazing is a hand applied process there will be variations in color and
  34. appearance from door to door and cabinet to cabinet. This is not considered a
  35. defect and is considered normal with hand applied finishes.
  36. It is the nature of wood to expand and contract to varying degrees depending
  37. on climate conditions. As a result, cabinet lines with painted surfaces may
  38. show fractures in the paint at joints. This is normal and is not considered a
  39. defect.
  40. To the extent permitted by law, this warranty excludes special,
  41. incidental, or consequential damages. Sunshine Home Material will offer warranty on
  42. manufacturer defects found at the time of unboxing up to 12-months after the order has
  43. been purchased. We replace only the affected pieces and have the right to charge a fee
  44. for additional requests made out of our warranty’s policy.
  45. To exercise this warranty, please contact the Sunshine Home Material
  46. supplier from whom you purchased the product. Report, in writing,
  47. to sales@sunshinehomematerial.com all defects claimed and include proof of
  48. purchase documentation. Photos of the defects are required.


  51. Sunshine Home Material is not responsible for any design or measurement
  52. mistakes. Customers should confirm measurements with a professional.

  55. Customer must show the original invoice or sales order with the return or
  56. Exchange within 15 days of the purchase. Without it, the return or exchange may be
  57. denied. If the items are brought back after the return period, the items will be denied.
  58. ➢ Customers are responsible for any additional shipping cost incurred for the
  59. Claims, returns, or exchanges.
  60. NO return or exchange will be completed for the following:
  61. ➢ All special orders: Any style other than Shaker White is considered special order.
  62. Any item from our mid-range or high-range line is NONREFUNDABLE or
  63. eligible for exchange. Items in our base-line other than Shaker White will be
  64. subject to the restocking fee as we do not have a usual stock of these items.
  65. ➢ Opened products, items with original packing destroyed or seriously damaged.
  66. ➢ Cabinets damaged, scratched, assembled, installed, modified or cut
  67. by customer. Sunshine Home Material is not responsible for any damages or
  68. errors made by the customer or their installer.
  69. ➢ Assembled cabinets by Sunshine Home Materials are FINAL SALE.
  70. ➢ Cabinets a part of any sale/promotion are FINAL SALE.


  73. Sunshine Home Material offers its customers a one year limited warranty, which
  74. guarantees that the material is free from manufacturing defects. This warranty covers
  75. product defects for a period of one years from the date of installation. If Sunshine
  76. Home Material or its authorized warranty service agent establishes that a defect in the
  77. material exists within this one year period, Sunshine Home Material will, at its sole
  78. discretion, repair or replace the defective Product in accordance with the following
  79. warranty provisions and exclusions:
  80. Terms and Conditions
  81. The one year limited warranty applies to the Sunshine Home Material Product only.
  82. Improper fabrication or installation is the responsibility of the fabricator/installer.
  83. This warranty applies to the Sunshine Home Material Product subjected to proper use
  84. and maintenance in accordance with the care & maintenance Instructions given during
  85. purchase. This warranty applies to the Sunshine Home Material Product which has
  86. been permanently installed in an interior setting and has not been moved from the
  87. original location.
  88. Exclusions
  89. This warranty shall not apply to:
  90. • Product and/or materials that have not been paid for in full.
  91. • Issues or occurrences that are inherent character-istics of Sunshine Home Material,
  92. regardless of whether they are viewed as a defect by the purchaser.
  93. • Damage caused by faulty or improper fabrication and installation, including but not
  94. limited to, seams, seam fitting, and caulking.
  95. • Damage caused by any instability or improper support occurring in the property in
  96. which the product has been installed, including but not limited to, shifting, settling, or
  97. movement of the substrate.
  98. • Damage caused to any materials that have been moved, removed or relocated from
  99. their original place of installation.
  100. • Damage caused by any form of abuse, exposure to excessive heat, accidents, or
  101. misuse, including but not limited to, scratches, stains, chips, or cracks.
  102. • Products to which the fabricator has applied a surface finish which has been altered in
  103. any way, and/or damage caused by chemical agents.
  104. • Products installed with known or visible manufacturing defects at the time of
  105. installation.
  106. • Other repairs and modifications, relating to but not limited to, plumbing work, electrical
  107. devices, tiles and units that may need to be done to properly repair or replace the
  108. Sunshine Home Material Product.
  109. Sunshine Home Material is not responsible for damage or injury caused in whole or part
  110. by acts of God, workplace conditions, exterior installations, architectural or engineering
  111. design, structural movement, acts of vandalism, or accidents. This warranty is extended
  112. to the original purchaser and may be transferred or assigned. A purchase receipt or
  113. other proof of date of original purchase will be required before warranty service is
  114. rendered. If transferred, a new warranty registration must be submitted with proof of the
  115. original purchase. The new warranty will be valid for the period of time remaining since
  116. the original purchase. No other express or implied warranties of merchantability or
  117. fitness for a particular purpose are made by this warranty except those expressly
  118. stipulated herein. Under no circum-stances shall Sunshine Home Material be liable for
  119. any loss or damage arising from the purchase, use or inability to use this product, or for
  120. any exceptional, indirect, incidental or consequential damages. In no case will Sunshine
  121. Home Material be liable for labor to remove and/or reinstall the Sunshine Home Material
  122. Product, or other similar activities necessary to complete the replacement or removal of
  123. the defective material.
